Characteristics of growth and elastase production
by mutant of Bacillus sp. 27-88ELS+

The dynamic of growth and character of elastase synthesis by strain of Bacillus sp. 27-88 Els+ was investigated. It was established that elastase synthesis occurs simultaneously by growth of culture. Influence of different carbon and nitrogen sources on elastase synthesis by strain of Bacillus sp. 27-88Els+ and Bacillus sp. 27 was studied. It was shown that elastase synthesis via parental strain of Bacillus sp. 27 depends on low-molecular sources of carbon and nitrogen. Influence of such kind of regulation on elastase synthesis via mutant is depressed. It was established the elastolytic activity in the culture fluid of the mutant of Bacillus sp. 27-54Els– at addition of alanine as the sole nitrogen source.
