TRADITIONAL AND BIOSENSOR METHODS
OF MONO- AND DISACCHARIDES DETERMINATION

The most important mono- and disaccharides, its physical-chemical characteristics and application in food industry have been described in the article. Methods for their quantitative and qualitative analysis with advantages and disadvantages have been characterized. The advantages of carbohydrates biosensors have been described compared to traditional methods of analysis.
